Straight answers, in plain English

Why should a sales team start with speed to lead?

Because a lead who doesn't hear back often moves on to whoever answered first. Speed to lead just means answering new leads fast, on the channel they used, whether that's Instagram, Facebook, your website or the phone. The AI Guy starts there because it's the simplest fix to see working: every lead gets a fast reply, the serious ones get booked and nobody has to remember to check.

What does "AI for your sales team" actually mean?

It means AI takes the repetitive first pass off your reps. The AI Guy sets it up to answer new leads fast with wording your team approved, sort who's serious, book calls and draft follow-ups, notes and account briefs. Reps stay in charge of the relationship, the judgment and anything about pricing. Everything runs in your own accounts, built around how your team sells and what your company allows.

Here's what that looks like job by job: AI for faster lead response, AI follow-up emails for sales reps, AI account briefs and meeting prep, AI for call notes and CRM updates and hands-on AI training for sales teams.

Which sales jobs can AI help with first?

The AI Guy starts with speed to lead: answering new leads fast, sorting them and booking the serious ones. After that, most teams add follow-up emails reps actually send, an account brief before each meeting and call notes turned into clean CRM updates. Each job has its own page below. On the free 15-minute call, Matt Malley and your sales leader pick what to set up first.

Who is The AI Guy best for?

The AI Guy is best for sales leaders and office managers with a team of reps who already use some AI but not the same way. That includes financial advisor offices, real estate brokerages, insurance agencies and B2B sales teams. It's not the right fit if you want software resold to you, a big agency retainer or a tool that messages clients in wording nobody on your team approved.

How does working with The AI Guy work?

It starts with a free 15-minute call with Matt Malley. If there's a fit, The AI Guy maps how leads and work move through your office today: where they come in, who answers and where they get stuck. Then Matt sets up the AI tools that fit, connects them to what you already use and tests them with you before anything goes live. Every month after that, he keeps it running and improves it.

Can The AI Guy work with sales teams outside Long Island?

Yes. Most of this work happens online, so The AI Guy works with sales teams anywhere in the US over video. Matt Malley is based on Long Island and can also run sessions in person for teams in Nassau and Suffolk County. The process is the same either way: a free 15-minute call first, then work built around your team's real sales process and approved tools.

How much does AI for a sales team cost?

The AI Guy works in three steps. First, a free 15-minute call to see where your leads slow down. Second, the $999 AI Business Assessment: Matt Malley maps your systems and processes with you and shows where AI can take over. Then you decide whether to build it yourself or talk about implementation. Your $999 credits toward implementation if you have us build it. Third, implementation and ongoing support, quoted on the call and put in writing before anything starts.

How does The AI Guy keep client and company data safe?

The AI Guy sets everything up in your own accounts and inside the tools your company already approved. Automatic replies to leads use wording your team signed off on. Anything beyond that first reply goes to a real person with the full conversation attached. For regulated offices like financial advisors and insurance agencies, Matt Malley asks about your firm's AI rules on the first call so the setup fits them.

Who is Matt Malley?

Matt Malley is the founder of The AI Guy from Long Island. He spent most of his career helping companies understand how technology and consumer behavior change the way businesses grow, including work connected to TheStreet, Sports Illustrated and Business Insider Intelligence. The name came from an executive who wanted someone to train their team on AI day to day. A colleague said, "it sounds like you just need a Matt."

Frequently asked questions

Do my reps need to be technical to use AI this way?

No. The AI Guy sets this up for salespeople, not engineers. Reps work in the AI chat or tools they already have, with plain-English instructions and a short checklist for each job. If a rep can write an email and update a CRM record, they can do this. Matt Malley works through it with them during the session so nobody is left to figure it out alone afterward.

Do we have to buy new software?

Usually not. The AI Guy starts with the AI tools and CRM your team already pays for and your company already allows. Matt Malley only recommends something new if it clearly earns its place. He says why on the free call. Most of the work is setting up how reps use what's already there so the whole team does it the same way.

Will AI replace my sales reps?

That's not the goal and it's not how The AI Guy sets things up. In Matt Malley's view, AI is good at the first pass: research, a first draft, a cleaned-up note. The relationship, the judgment and the decision to send stay with the rep. The point is giving reps back time for selling, not taking the rep out of the conversation.

Do you automate LinkedIn outreach or use scraping tools?

No. The AI Guy doesn't use scraping tools or anything that automates activity on LinkedIn. LinkedIn's own help page says it doesn't permit third-party software that scrapes or automates activity on its site. Reps research accounts from information they pull themselves and AI helps them turn it into a brief or a first draft they edit before sending.

Will AI answer our leads automatically?

Only the first reply and only with wording your team approved. The AI Guy sets it up so a new lead hears back fast on the channel they used, gets sorted and, if they're serious, gets a time on your calendar. When a lead needs a real person, the full conversation goes to a rep. Matt Malley tests all of it with you before anything goes live.

Is the 15-minute call really free?

Yes. The 15-minute call with Matt Malley is free and you keep what you learn either way. You talk through how your team sells, which tools you're allowed to use and where reps lose time. If The AI Guy is a fit, Matt follows up with a written scope and quote. If it isn't, he'll tell you that on the call.
